Parents accused of kidnapping son
PITTSBURGH -- Police said a mother and father from Pittsburgh have been charged with kidnapping their own son. Gregory McKenith has been missing since October when his parents were ordered to give him into the custody of Children, Youth and Family Services. Police said when the order was given, McKenith's parents never turned him over to CYF. The boy's father, Gregory McKenith Sr. turned himself in to deputies on Tuesday night. He is facing kidnapping and child endangerment charges. Deputies continue to search for the boy and his mother, Darnisha Mills. Mills also faces kidnapping charges. Police said Mills and her son are believed to be in Highland Park, East Liberty or Sharpsburg.
